The Nestbox Company Limited is a small family business based in the Heart of the West Midlands.
The business commenced making nest boxes in 1996, and has grown to become one of the largest bird box manufacturers in the UK. We have a long tradition of designing and creating nesting boxes for British birds and mammals.
The Nestbox Company supplies a diversity of clients, large and small. Among our larger customers are The National Trust, the Countryside Council for Wales, Natural England, the Royal Parks, several of the Wildlife Trusts, The Woodland Trust, The Peoples Trust for Endangered Species, the wholesale trade and numerous County Councils and schools. Our boxes are to be found within gardens, fields, and woodland throughout the UK and much further afield.
Our range of nest boxes have been designed after full consultation with the foremost experts including the RSPB, The Barn Owl Trust, ZSL London Zoo, The Bat Conservation Trust and The People's Trust for Endangered Species. In addition to nest boxes, we have introduced feeders for birds and small animals, and insect houses. All have been developed with the needs of the users (ie the wildlife) uppermost in our minds, but we have also ensured that, without making any compromises on function, our products look good to their human purchasers, and will enhance the look of any home or garden.
Enjoy Birds More started as an independent company in 2004, designing and putting on sale the World's first practical wireless camera nest box. Before combining its activities with The Nestbox Company, it extended and developed its range of electronic and camera products for watching wildlife, to include wired and wireless camera nest boxes, and wireless, wired and remote cameras.
With such a wide range of products, all sensitively designed to benefit wildlife, the Nestbox Company has supplied a growing number of boxes etc to wildlife professionals and their clients for use in habitat mitigation, particularly in building and construction projects.
The Company is proud to number many private individuals amongst its customers, and it is delighted through them to have helped wildlife in many parts of the UK and other countries.
The Nestbox Company manufactures its products in its own rural workshops, and utilises modern production technology (including cutting many of its panels using computer controlled routers), and traditional finishing by craftsmen.
