Tawny Owls are the stuff of legend and fable and have been around since the Ice Age. They make the evocative too wit too woo sound.
They like a home without a roof, so their nest box is more of a tube than a box, but equipped with a drained floor and an easy access hatch for cleaning at the end of the season.
Attach at an angle of about 45 degrees to the vertical.
The Tawny Owl Nest Box works extremely well on a site where an old tree or other nesting site, e.g. a barn, has been removed.
