Delivery and Returns

DELIVERY TO ADDRESSES IN THE UK, CHANNEL ISLANDS AND ISLE OF MAN

All deliveries will incur our standard shipping charges, which are added automatically at checkout and depend on the value of goods in your order. 

Occasionally, due to additional charges from our carriers, we may need to apply a Delivery Surcharge due to the weight, size or destination of an order. Surcharges are rare and will not be charged automatically, but we will contact you as soon as we can to let you know, and get your agreement to the surcharge.  At this point, you will be able to decide whether to pay the surcharge and go ahead with the order, or to cancel the order and receive a full refund.  If you prefer to check before placing your order, please contact us by email (mail@nestbox.co.uk) to let us know what you are interested in purchasing and the delivery address.  We will be pleased to respond with a custom quote including all shipping costs.

DELIVERY TO OTHER COUNTRIES

We are pleased to deliver to most countries worldwide.  Due to fluctuations in international shipping charges, we process orders going to other countries separately.  If you are considering purchasing any of our products for despatch to an address outside of the UK, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands, please contact us by email (to mail@nestbox.co.uk).  Please let us know your name, organisation and email address, along with the products and quantities you are thinking of buying, and the full address for delivery.  We will respond with a full quotation, including shipping charges. 

We do not apply VAT or Customs Duties on orders going to countries other than the UK.  This means that all our customers outside the UK will be responsible for paying any import duty or taxes due, direct to the customs authority of their country.

DELIVERY TIMESCALES

We pride ourselves on the care that goes into the manufacture and despatch of each one of our products.   Often, orders leave us on the day of order or the next day, and whilst most orders are despatched within a few days, if we are particularly busy or a product is being made to order, it may take us a little longer before we can get your order to you.

This pride extends to the delivery of your orders.  We aim to get orders to our customers quickly, safely and without hassle.  We choose our carriers carefully, having particular regard for the care they take with our products, their speed of delivery, and environmental credentials.

If you need your order to arrive by a particular date, please let us know as soon as possible, so that we can expedite it if necessary, and ensure you receive it in good time.  You can do this by putting a note on the order when placing it, or emailing us at mail@nestbox.co.uk.

UNAVAILABLE ITEMS

In the unlikely event that a product you order is not available, we will inform you as soon as possible, cancel the order and give you the opportunity to order a substitute product of your choice. We do not make any substitutes automatically.

RETURNS

We try our hardest to make sure all our customers are pleased with their purchases. If you’ve purchased something from us and there is a problem for whatever reason, please get in touch and we will do our best to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.

If you’ve received a product that’s been damaged in transit or is defective for some other reason please contact us within 7 days of receiving the item. Our aim will be to resolve the issue quickly and easily, and investigate to learn if we can do anything better in future.  As part of this, we may ask you to return the item at our cost.

If you no longer want to keep a product you’ve purchased and would like a refund, please contact us within 7 days of receipt. You’ll then need to return the item to us in the original condition and packaging. We advise using insured recorded delivery as we cannot accept responsibility for a product lost in transit.

All goods purchased on this website are covered by our 6 month warranty.   If any of our products fails within 6 months of purchase due to faulty materials or workmanship, we will replace or repair it (at our choice) free of charge.
