DELIVERY TO ADDRESSES IN THE UK, CHANNEL ISLANDS AND ISLE OF MAN
Most of these deliveries will incur our standard shipping charges, which are calculated automatically at the checkout and depend on the value of goods in your order.
A few of the orders going to the offshore islands or the Scottish Highlands may also be charged a delivery surcharge because our carriers charge extra for these deliveries. Surcharges will not be charged at checkout, but we will contact you before despatch to let you know the amount of the surcharge. At this point, you will be able to decide whether to pay the surcharge and go ahead with the order, or to cancel the order and receive a full refund.

DELIVERY TO OTHER COUNTRIES WORLDWIDE
Whilst we are normally pleased to deliver to most countries worldwide, at present we are not accepting orders going to countries other than the UK. This is due to the exceptional difficulties and delays we are currently experiencing with exports, due to Covid, Brexit, and revised export procedures. We hope to resume exporting in the near future, once the delivery networks have returned to normal.
We do not charge VAT or Customs Duties on orders going to countries other than the UK (and this now includes the EU). This means that all our customers outside the UK will be responsible for paying any import duty or taxes due to the customs authority of their country.
Charges for deliveries outside the UK are calculated and applied automatically at checkout. In exceptional cases, we may have to make a charge in addition to that calculated automatically, but if we do so, we will inform you and give you the opportunity to choose whether to make the additional payment and proceed with your order, or take a full refund. We pride ourselves on the care that goes into the manufacture of each one of our products. Many of our products are "made to order", specifically for the individual customer. Often, orders leave us on the same day or the next day, and whilst most orders are complete within a few days, if we are busy it sometimes takes us longer before we can finish manufacture and then despatch your order.
This pride extends to the delivery of your orders. Once manufactured and ready to despatch, we aim to get orders to our customers as quickly and safely as possible. We therefore choose our carriers very carefully, having particular regard for the care they take with our products, their efficiency, speed of delivery, and environmental credentials. Most of our orders going to UK addresses are sent on next day delivery services.
If you need your order to arrive by a particular date, please let us know as soon as possible, so that we can expedite it through our manufacturing process if necessary, and ensure you receive it in good time. You can do this by putting a note on the order when placing it, or emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
In the unlikely event that a product you order is not available, we will inform you as soon as possible, cancel the order and give you the opportunity to order a substitute product of your choice. We do not make any substitutes automatically.
At the Nestbox Company we are proud of our products and we try our hardest to make sure all our customers are pleased with their purchases. If you’ve purchased something from us and there is a problem for whatever reason please get in touch and we will do our best to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.
If you’ve received a product that’s been damaged in transit or is defective for some other reason please contact us within 7 days of receiving the item. You’ll be given a returns authorisation number. Once the item has been returned to us we will send you a replacement and refund your postage costs.
If you no longer want to keep a product you’ve purchased and would like a refund, please contact us within 7 days of receipt. We’ll give you a returns authorisation number and you’ll then need to return the item to us in the original condition and packaging. We advise using insured recorded delivery as we cannot accept responsibility for a product lost in transit.
All goods purchased on this site are covered by our 6 month warranty. If any of our products fails within 6 months of purchase due to faulty materials or workmanship, we will replace or repair it (at our choice) free of charge.
