Why not put up a new nest box?

Right now is a good time to get a new nest box up and ready for garden birds this spring.  February is traditionally regarded as the beginning of the nesting season in the UK, so there is no time to lose.

With the milder weather that some of us have had recently, you may have noticed some birds are already seeking out nest sites, so don't delay.

If you were thinking of cleaning out any of last year's nest nesting boxes please do it before the end of January to comply with the regulations.

The sooner you can put up a box, the better the chance of it being used!
